Description

La seconda metà del 1800, con il secolare governo tokugawa che fatica a mantenere il controllo del paese contro i movimenti imperialisti e le intromissioni straniere, è un periodo tumultuoso e affascinante della storia Japanese. Osamu tezuka lo racconta in un dramma storico, attraverso gli occhi di due uomini molto diversi: il samurai fedele alle tradizioni manjiro ibuya e il medico ryoan tezuka (suo antenato), aperto alle innovazioni occidenali.
